I`m still cant connect to service with latest svn 11851 .Amsn first connected but no contacts loading and then freezed.Pidgin connected without prblem so there is no connection issue. Also amsn get the msn profile nickname as a msn nick thats weird.Pidgin released fix for this bug.

Edit:  I can connect with Http port 80 way with 11851 but direct connection not working

hi lordamus.. for a power user, I'm disappointed.. you answered on a completely unrelated thread, so I had to split your message to its own thread...
anyways, no idea what's wrong.. as a power user, you should know by now that I'd need the status and protocol logs if you expect any help...

very interesting logs... looks like you are having some connectivity issues (look at the status log where it says "host is unreachable"... but there might also be some issues with the http code itself, i'll have a look...
thx

humm.. nope, from what I can guess, it's that your "host is unreachable".. == no internet.. maybe you have a firewall problem or something...
if you don't think so, then go back some revision (svn update -r11850) and see if it works.. if it does, try to find the exact revision that broke, and let me know.. thanks

I`ve no connection or firewall problem as I said before.. amsn send bug report when I try to connect all the time this not happened before ( 4-5 early revisions)   is this can related TK/TCL bug ? (  I`ve 8.5.6-4 )   Ok I`ll try to go back and try..  but I`m on 11866 and still same issue..

Edit:  I did back to r11800 and there is no connection problem at all. So higher than r11800 some problems in it.

This part failed before I switched to r11800

lordamus: which revision EXACTLY! if it works with 11800, does it mean it doesn't work with 11801 ? if it works with 11801, then tell me what version exactly it doesn't work with...
search the forum for 'binary search' to know how you can make find the exact revision really fast.

It's a known prob. kkrt is trying to fix it. There's nothing more you can do, you'll just have to wait.  Undecided
