Hi i'm streekhost from holland.

i'have installed amsn one week ago...it works fine...
but now i can't sign in anymore..now almost 3 days  ago..does any have the same problem??
help me out please... Sad

give more information like operating system, distribution, which version of aMSN, connection settings, status and protocol logs (ctrl-s and ctrl-d from the main window). we can't magically guess the problem and solution.

hi,

i use the latest version 0.98.1, with windows xp.
it works for 1 week and now i can't sign in..sometimes i get a error from the server
msn works fine so it's no connection problem...anyone have the same probs??
please help..I like amsn more than msn ... :x

hi kakaroto,
i found the problem amsn don't work under windows 7
i have installed it on a pc with xp it works 100%

so last week i has xp on my own pc i upgrade it with windows 7..now it doens't work..
is there any patch or something to work with 7?

eh sorry for my bad english...i'm from holland  Cheesy

I use Windows 7, it should work...
Like I told you, copy/paste here the output of the status and protocol log windows, press Ctrl-S and ctrl-D from the main window to see those windows and copy/paste here their content after you try to connect and it fails.

humm.. try deleting the file c:\program files\amsn\scripts\utils\asyncresolver\libasyncresolver.dll
and try again see if it helps

the same..amsn is trying to make contact..but nothing happens.. Sad

so maybe you have a firewall that prevents amsn from connecting.. make sure all firewalls are disabled AND quit them (many firewalls keep working even if you disable them, so you have to click exit).

I  have tryed it..no succes... Sad

if i start my pc with xp amsn works..I don't understand how..when i start my pc with windows7..no connection...

maybe windows 7 integrated firewall needs to be disabled... ?
