Tested a full installation after completely removing aMSN. From a completely fresh installation it's finding libnice and libgstfarsight. I'd installed farsight2 previously so I'm not sure if I removed that completely but it did find and install libnice properly from a fresh install.

humm... maybe it's the upgrade process that has a bug... try installing the old version, removing libgstfarsight and libnice, then upgrade to the svn and see if it installs the new dependencies...
