Hi,
I don't know if it's the right section, but anyway I want to give my contribute.
As I wrote on ubuntuforums, I automatically upload packages of svn versions on my server any time I compile it, so here is the post I wrote, hope it will please somebody, otherwise never mind Smiley

-------------
I have set up a script who compiles latest svn every x days, then uploads it to my webserver.
You can download the .deb package at http://nix.flapane.com in Ubuntu folder.
When I compile the package, it automatically gets uploaded.
I'm using hardy i386, but it should work on newer versions too

Hi,
Thanks, this is nice indeed! I'm sure some people will find this useful! What would be nice is if we could have a *real* apt source (to just add to /etc/apt/sources.list) and it would have binaries for hardy/gutsy/intrepid/blablabla so anyone could use it! And as well as amsn svn, also have farsight and gstreamer, etc.. packages in there (if not available in ubuntu itself and if it doesn't cause any conflicts/misbehavior to existing apps).
Anyways, this is great news for many, and thanks for sharing!

You're welcome.
I tought that I am compiling it very often, so why don't share it, maybe with an automatic process.
I received some replies in an italian board, probably someone will decide to compile the 64bit version and I will pass him the script and give him a privilege on that upload folder.

I've put everything here
http://www.flapane.com/blog/2009/03/amsn-svn-linux-ubuntu-pacchetti-precompilati-deb/

Thanks to a php script I wrote, that post automatically displays all the amsn builds and which one is the most recent and which is its date.

New deb will be built on 9.10 rather than 8.04
Farsight support is now enabled.

New deb from April-2011 will be built on Ubuntu 11.04 (still with Farsight support).
Just wondering, is somebody still interested in it?

Hi, I'm sure a lot of people are interested in that build! Just think about all those topics asking for help or a guide about how to compile amsn.

Regards and thanks for the contributions!

Thanks, I don't have any data regarding the specific folder where I upload amsn, so I didn't know if it were useful or not Grin
