I know, I know...you developers freak when anyone asks how far aMSN 2 is already, but my curiousity is too great  Smiley

So, without trying to push you to hurry up, i'd just like to know how development is going for the Mac version?
Are there already some mockups for the look?

Will the GUI be more OS X native looking?

noone is working on the mac version yet, but we will provide a mac front end using Cocoa.. which means that we'll have a native look

Just a question about that ... there already will be a QT4 frontend, and QT draws itself using cocoa ... why will a cocoa frontend be developped ?

because it will be native, it will be different, and the UI design can be specific to the Mac HIG...

I somewhat wonder if maybe the mac Cocoa version shouldn't simply be an aMSN backend to Adium X ? Ok, I can understand that aMSN devs don't like this too much since they wouldn't have full control

hehe, for win32 frontend, if someone wants to do it, then please do... noone is enforcing a list of which front ends will or will not be developed (hey, there's even someone who just decided to implement a web frontend and sent us his patches... )
about amsn backend to adium... nope :p
