Webcam on OpenSolaris 2008.11
«

Hi,
I successfully compiled aMSN (0.98b) on OpenSolaris 2008.11. However my webcam is not functioning with aMSN. If I start the Audio -and Webcam Assistent the preview leaves black.
Device: v4l2: USB 2.0 Camera
Port: Camera Terminal
Starting test.ctl says: Your webcam uses a combination of palette/resolution that this extension does not support yet.
Any help appreciated !
TIA

try to see if there's libv4l2 for opensolaris and recompile amsn with libv4l2 support, this should probably fix any palette issues you might have.
