Hi, although i got my webcam to work on actual conversations with friends the Wizzard doesnt really work. Also /I have noticed that the picture quality is not very good and for some reason i cannot use the configuration options like brightness and contrast. Any ideas?

i believe it is gspca. The webcam works with camorama and effectv but same quality as with aMsN.
EDIT:
ok i think i need to be a lil more specific about my problem. I just switched from windows to Linux and so far so good. I had tried a different method using module-assistant, but that did not work. Then i tried with gspca and after a reboot i was able to use my cam. The cam is working aside from the fact that it doesnt in the Wizzard, but the picture is too dark, and no matter how i play with its settings in camorama i still cant even see my face. It is in the same position as it was when i had windows and before i could clearly see myself. So i guess i have 2 problems, one is that it doesnt work during the wizzard and the other that the cam is not functioning like it used to in windows.
