I logged out (but kept the program running), while having a conversation window still open. Then I received a message in that window. I sent one back, and the other person still saw me as online. Maybe "log out" doesn't actually log me out?

That's normal. MSN protocol is written like that.

Really? I see. I wonder why that is, what's the point of having a "log out" function then? (I mean on the protocol, not amsn)

You are not online anymore, not receiving anything on other users' states, etc ....

They send you messages because the SB is open... Search the forums or go to msnpiki to find out how SBs work. Smiley

They shouldn't see you online though!....
