Hey,
Great idea! I just joined.
I think this is also my first post (not a huge fan of forums).
amsn is the best MSN alternative, I just wish it used Java or something so I could contribute to it. I had never heared of tcl/tk before reading these forums.
Hey, after getting through Tcl's slightly odd syntax, you can code in it easily! I advise reading this small page of ours:
http://amsn-project.net/wiki/Dev:TclTk_Tutorial, and also you may find reading through plugins may help to immerse you in the world of Tcl/aMSN code.
If you want to code in Tcl/Tk, I'd advise you keep these pages bookmarked:
http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.4/TclCmd/contents.htm &
http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.4/TkCmd/contents.htm. And also
http://wiki.tcl.tk/ is very useful, it has lots of code examples.
PS. I don't think anyone who is working on aMSN knew Tcl/Tk before working with aMSN!
