I have installed tck/tk 8.5beta, and remove tcl/tk 8.4 (and so 8.4dev). To install amsnSVN i make a deb package, now apt-get says there are some dependence _problem_ because amsn require tcl/tk8.4. Can you upgrade the dependence so that I can use 8.5 instead of 8.4dev?

Thanks

Tcl/tk 8.5 is still a beta version. I'm not a .deb user, but I think it's *not* a good idea to make that a dependency for amsn.
At least, we have to wait until it's stable.
Best thing you can do is reinstall 8.4 (and if you like, run 8.5 next to it, that's what most of us are doing I guess).

It's a bad idea to update that dependency, as JeeBee said, tcl/tk 8.5 is not yet stable and we do not officially support problems from users using it.
Also, if we update the dependency, the package will break since no apt repository has the tcl/tk 8.5 binaries yet.
If you want to use amsn with tcl/tk 8.5, you can do it like most of us, just use the SVN source code that you compiled and run the file 'amsn' directly from the source without installing (I usually launch amsn with the command ~/amsn/amsn).

OK, thanks I'll try in this way.
