Hi,
relax, and start breathing...
you're using tcl/tk 8.5a3 ... try tcl/tk 8.4 because the bug only happens in tcl/tk 8.5. If you really want to use 8.5 (because of AA fonts for example), then I suggest you get tcl/tk 8.5 CVS HEAD. The bug comes from tcl/tk, not from amsn, and it has already been fixed by the tcl/tk team, you just need to get the latest CVS version of tcl/tk 8.5
have fun

An easyer way to solv this is to install the desktop integration plugin. You'll find it under files on sourceforge.net/amsn/

Hi, you might also try tcl8.5a4, I had the same problem so I've been googleing and trying various stuff, but I think it was upgrading to tcl8.5a4 that did the trick. Please let us know if that indeed does the trick or if there is something else that needs to be done.

Hi, da_fox.
Yes, the bug is in tcl/tk 8.4 and 8.5, but we reported it to the tcl/tk team and they fixed it in both the 8.4 and 8.5 branches. But, since we can't control the numerous users using tcl/tk 8.4, we have a workaround for it for 8.4 users, but for 8.5, you need to go to 8.5a4.
Thanks da_fox. Your words are wise Tongue Wink
