@soupdragon, @Andrea: In many machines it works. I am copy-pasting what I pasted a few lines above.

THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET SUPPORT.

Please go to the forum instead, http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/ .

Those of you unable to login:
===================
Make sure it’s not your firewall blocking the “changed” aMSN. If it’s not, make a forum post explaining your issue, together with information such as your operating system version, and also paste your status log (Ctrl+S) and protocol log (Ctrl+D) there.

Mac users:
=======
There is currently an issue with the Mac build of aMSN, a new one will be out soon. In the meantime, look for a workaround in the forum (use the Tcl/Tk build from the 0.98.3 version).

Ubuntu users:
=========
The aMSN team does not package aMSN for any Linux distros. Please compile it yourself if you are familiar with the process, or ask the Ubuntu team to package it.

Do NOT use aMSN 0.98.4 for Windows! It will NOT connect to the server! Keep using 0.98.3 instead this still works.

Cheers.
